Question:
Those taking strattera postop--do you just swallow the capsule?

I was told by my Dr that it was not advisable to use capsules and strattera does not come in liquid form and is not supposed to be opened.....HELP....what/how are you taking it?    — Dee Z. (posted on February 13, 2005)

I take Strattera capsules everyday and it seems to work just fine! Everyone is different but it is worth a try unless it could be life threating. For me, not taking Strattera would be life threating!

I would just take the capsule. I take 2 capsules a day and I do just fine. My doctor and his nurses told me that all the capsules you take just dissolve once they hit water. I've never had to crush or mix any of my medication in anything. That was in the hospital and post-op. I've done fine.
