Anybody know whether Medicaid of Louisiana will cover WLS if medically necessary

I am sure that medicaid is pretty much the same thing in each state. They are federal so Yes They should cover it. Best WIshes.

I have medicaid of louisiana and at first I was not covered so I got a medicaid lawer and I won. I had surgery on March 29. Anything I can help you with e mail me @ [email protected]

Yes, Medicaid of Louisiana does cover Gastric By-Pass Suregery when medically necessary. Sometimes it does take a little while, but it is worth the wait. You may have to keep on your Doctors financial secretary, but it can be done. Best Wishes to your Sister in her WLS Journey.
