Do you like tuna fish? One ounce of tuna has 7 grams of protien in it. If you eat three ounces it will contain 21 grams of protien. Also there is a drink called Isopure which contains 40 grams of protien! Tastes like fruit punch, it comes in a bottle ready to drink. Good stuff. One other thing I heard but have never tried. It is a syrup elixor and one tablespoon has 20 grams of protien called Prostat. You could take one tablespoon 3X a day and you have your protien for the day. You can get info on it at www.prostat.com Good luck

Have you considered trying Lactaid? It works really well with being lactose intolerant. :)

Hi Christy, I am 7 months out and have lost 108 pounds. I have been using the chocolate Champion Pure Whey Stack 2.2 pound container since my surgery. I love it. It has between 23-26 grams of protein per scoop. You should have 3 scoops a day at different times. I had found out that if you drink more that 1 scoop per hour, your body doesn't absorb it and it just passes through. I work with a nutritionist and he is VERY informative. I have been paying around $40.00 for a container. I went looking and found it on the www.dpsnutrition.net website for only $23.99 for a 5 pound container. A great savings!!! I also take Country Life Maxi-Hair tablets. It is a dietary supplement to nourish hair, nails, and skin. I found the cheapest was on the www.vitacost.com website. for $7.63 for 60 tabs. My nutritionist said you should take 2 a day. Since your hair, nails and skin are mostly made up of protein and your eating habits have really changed, that is why you are losing your hair, and your nails are brittle and skin is dry. I also agree with one of the people who answered you. Tuna fish (packed in water), canned salmon, white chicken meat and shrimp are really good for you and filling. I hope this information helped. Take care and good luck.
