The question is do we absorb calcium carbonate in ANY form? My personal view is NO, not at all, regardless of hype, price or anything else. It's still dead animal bones, just the animals are coral, not oyster shell. Of course, I am biased because of the experience of so many of us who used carbonate products and how have osteoporosis.

I would say no since it's just over-priced calcium carbonate and not the calcium citrate that we need.
