Just my own opinion here. Knowing hundreds of wls pt and being 3.5 years
out I've come to the conclusion that we don't have much control on where it
stops. The body does what it wants (pending we are following the rules of
course) I think at 8 months out you still have at least 12 full months of
losing and I would bet you'll at least get to 100 pound loss. I lost slow
but until 16 mo out. sounds like you're doing well! Congrats!

I am 49 also and started at 275, my doctor set my goal at 130, I made it
at 1 year, i hope to lose alittle more to be around 120 or 125, so I have
alittle comfort zone. but if I fdont that will be fine too. set you goal
where you feel comfortable, where you feel the best...........

not to be a smart azz or anything but the best 'goal' for any of us is to
acheive good health - whatever weight that is :>)
