Question:
I am 4 days post op. My Dr. suggested I use Atkins for protein.

I am 3 1/2 months post op and I still have gurgling bowel and gas, infact sometimes it seems to be worse than at the begining... I usually find that for me personally it has to do with not getting enought excersize. I would think it would be pretty common at only 4days post op. Hang in there, things will get better.

I'm 2+ years post op and still have the gurgling sounds. (shrug) at least it makes my kids laugh. LOL

Four years postop here. The gas gets better pretty quickly, but the noise still happens. Here is my kids' imitation of my stomach sounds: (say this in a growly voice) worra worra worra worra worra worra worra. hugs, Ann RNY 9/10/99 260/125
