Question:
Hardly lost any weight
I am 4 months out and have only lost 35 pounds. I am doing the 60 -70 in protein, water, excercise. I am 5'9, was 280 down to 245. Is this normally for others? — [Deactivated Member] (posted on July 29, 2003)

What kind of exercise are you doing? If not cardio, you might consider
adding some to speed things up. I read your profile and it looks like
you've gone from a size 24 down to a 16! That's great! I started around the
same time as you and went from a 22 to a 14, so it sounds like size-wise
you're okay - don't know why the scale isn't reflecting your obvious loss!

Need more info. What are you eating, how often, how much...etc. Even on a
"normal diet" of cutting calories you probably would lose a
little more than this at 4 months. What does your doctor say. Are you
transected? What type of surgery did you have?

Hi! I am a slow loser as well. So far I have lost just over 70 pounds for
10 months out. I had a distal RNY lap. I am frustrated however it is
still 70 plus pounds. I did work nights until recently and hopefully that
will help. Everyone is different and the weight loss is different for
everyone. Just hang in there and it will come off.
