Question:
Does anyone or has any one tried these nutritional supplements
My doctor wants me to start taking these supplements and they are $43.75 a month. before I buy them I wanted to ask around to see if anyone else is taking them and how are they? Thanks:) almost there 12 days to a "New life" — Jeri L. (posted on July 23, 2003)

I haven't tried these but my first question would be is the dr or one of
his/her affiliates benefitting from the sale. It continues to amaze me that
we/our insurance providers are charged upwards of $20,000 for WLS and still
some dr's try to wring more out of us with specialized supplements and
"fitness" memberships that benefit them financially. I would ask
the dr what it is about these supplements that he feels is so beneficial.
That way if you don't like them or want to try to find something cheaper
you can still get the health benefit from it.

Bariatric Advantage supplements are wonderful. I had the pleasure of
meeting Dr. Jacqueline Jacques who is one of the physician's involved in
developing these products. They are ideal for WLS patients and have a very
good reputation within the WLS community. I'd say they're well worth it!
Best wishes to you!

I asked about "Healthy `N Fit" that I got from the place that
sells "Real Meals", and was told "One A Day" is fine
and alot cheaper. But If I felt I wanted to take the more expensive ones
that was up to me. We didn't compare the two since neither of us had any
"One A Day" handy at the time.
