Hi... I am 7.5 weeks post op, and still can't really eat a meal. I do sit
with my kids and try to eat, but still very little. I hear about 3 months
that will change. Good luck.

I am almost 11 weeks out, and tonight I had about 1/4 cup noodles with 1/2
cup chicken poperkash(sp?) (chicken with ff sour cream and paprika)on them.
It was what I would call a very small normal portion. I can eat a regular
portion of Kashi Go lean cereal (3/4 cup). It depends on the food. Some
foods I can eat more of, like (unfortunately) nsa ff ice cream. Some
foods, like deli roast beef and other meats, not very much. Everyone is so
different.

I try and stay away from all carbohydrates as my surgeon suggests. I stick
mostly with shrimp, crab, chicken and made low carb pork barbeque this
weekend! I have also been eating fruit, veggies with dip and occasionally
a very small salad. At almost 10 weeks post-op, I am now eating about 3-4
ounces of food. Not much but it satisfies me. I feel full so fast. See
my website as I have a bunch of recipes. The link is on my page. Good
luck to you!
