Will they still allow surgury if I was told that I have periods of fast heart rates?

That's called tachycardia. Yes, you will still be allowed surgery. You will
be a higher risk, but you will be allowed. See my first profile sharon

Your surgeon may require cardiac clearance before he does surgery. You may
need to be seen by a cardiologist, who may order tests to determine what
kind of tachycardia you have. (Not all types of tachycardia are benign).If
he says you are oka for surgery, that will satisfy your surgeon.
