Question:
Is it normal that to only lose weight while on monthly cycle?
I am almost four months out and for the last two months the only time I lose weight is the week I am on my monthly cycle. Has anyone else had this? Will I eventually get back to losing throughout the month? I have been losing about 10 pounds in the week following my period, if I can keep that up I am satisfied. Thanks, Marcy — Marcy S. ME TOO!!! I am 3 months post op and I only lose the week of my period. Then
I plateau for 3 weeks - like clock work! I am sorry we are this way, but I
am glad that I am not alone :-)

Same here!! I'm 9 mo post-op. I've lost 92lbs. but i only seem to lose
the week i'm on my cycle. And then I only lose
5 lbs. I don't understand it either. But at least we're not alone:)

Me too! I am 4.5 months out and this month I only lost 5 lbs during my
period, so I am waiting to see if I lose anymore between now and July 5th
(my 5 month mark). But it is not looking so good since I only lose during
my period and that ended last week!!! Oh well at least it is coming off!!!

Me too!! I find that I just plateau a couple of weeks before, then I can
drop 5-10 pounds in one week. But I do find myself wanting to eat a lot a
week before my period. I too am glad that I am not the only one...

Just a thought and maybe it only applies to me...but I find I eat more
during that time of the month and I don't necessarily make the best choices
all the time when PMS'ing. Wonder if it's the shake up in my routine
that's doing it....
