Question:
The nutrionest
I seen the nutrionest today.. I'm not sure how it went to be honest. She seemed all for the surgery. I'm just not sure if she was a go for me to have it.. We talked about the diets that I have been on, but never got to finish the list of them.. OUr convosation seemed to float to one thing to another.. Will this hurt my chances? I'm going to call her tomarrow to ask several questions... — Dianna S. (posted on May 13, 2003)

You mean the nutritionist, right? Probably a typo- but I don't think it
should hurt your chances. From my understanding, and I could be wrong,
often times you have the nutrition evaluation for your own good, and not
for insurance reasons. They go over diet history with you, but are also
supposed to talk with you about healthy eating habits, as well as things to
do and not to do after surgery. Even if it was for insurance reasons or
what not, I doubt it will have a bad effect for you. You didn't really go
in depth, so I'm not sure what exactly bothered you about the eval., but
we've all been on diets and most had some bad habits of eating in one way
or another, that's what got us here, so I think you should be ok. Don't
worry about it! Goodluck to you :-)

Yes that is what I mean.. What bothered me is the fact that I did
not know if she was suporative of me having the surgery or not..
