Question:
Has anyone used the Orbitrek as their main source of exercise?
I just bought a used Orbitrek yesterday, only can do a minute or two before my legs feel like they are going to fall off. Has this exercise worked for you? What else did you do? I am four months out and down 73 pounds was going to the YMCA but just wasn't getting results hoping this orbitrek will help me strengthen my legs more have a bad knee. WHat is the orbitrek? DO you know what the eliptical is? I use that, maybe
it is similiar or the same thing. It's kind of a cross between a step
machine and skiing. That has worked for me, I have very bad knees, its in
my family, most members have had knee replacements or soon will, so it's
important that I don't hurt them. But that has helped me alot. if it is the
same machine we're talking about- then it takes time to get used to! I did
5 minutes the first time and I felt like I was about to die. It uses your
whole body, so its pretty strenuous. Start off very slow, then work your
way up. After a few weeks of using it, I can now do 20-30 minutes on it,
plus lifting weights. My legs feel stronger and look better and have more
