I would check to see if your state sponsors a "health risk pool"
insurance policy. Texas offers one. They have certain guidelines that make
you eligible - certain illnesses, denied for coverage due to health reasons
or higher costs than what they charge. Its worth a shot.

Have you considered getting a part time job that offers insurance?? I know
grocery stores offer part time employees insurance as well as Home Depot.
You cant be turned down for a group policy. My sister has decided to
pursue this surgery and her private insurance had an exclusion. She is now
working for The Home Depot, part time. It is a covered benefit under their
insurance plan.

What about your local Vocational rehab place?

the best thing for you to do is get in with a group because any kind of
single plan is going to turn you down because of weight i been there i know
that so even if you work part time at like the other girls said home depo
or grocery store good luck to you.
