Question:
Insurance question...

I just called my insurance company (cigna) and I was surprised to find out that my plan covers 60 visits to a psychologist each year! I was stunned that they pay for that many. Does your plan cover that many? I'm wondering if that is the norm for insurance companies. Thanks!    — Kimberly S. (posted on February 20, 2003)

Mine (Aetna PPO) covers 56 out-patient visits per year. I also found out that if it is in network I pay an office visit of $10.

Yes that is typical. Some plans do not have a limit.
