Question:
Anyone have any feedback good or bad about Jamba Juice?
They have a protein drink that is called the proein Berry Pizzaz. It comes wiht 25 grams of proteina nd you can add another shot of protein for 25 more. I know that it is soy based and belive that there is no sugar in it. Very yummy. 7 days post-op. — armonce G. (posted on February 17, 2003)

hiya! the only cautions i would have is: 1. you can only absorb 30g of
protein in an hour so adding the second shot of protein is a waste of
money; 2. the drinks are so large that even at 20 months post op i cannot
finish one (taking over several hours to drink!); 3. you don't want to use
a straw -- causes gas. a friend of mine can't do jamba juice because of
the natural sugars making her dump. they don't seem to bother me...
good luck!

Be very careful - The protein berry pizzaz has 92 grams of carb - 79 gm of
sugar!!! That's in the 24 oz. I would dump on this for sure! You can see
the nutritional information at

all of them have huge amounts of sugar... wow... I didn't even try them pre
op... for ME.. and maybe its different for others... protein doesn't really
matter if the carbs are four times the protein, its hardly worth it...

I LOVE Jamba Juice. We checked out the book they have in their store with
all the nutrional info. All the drinks have HUGE numbers of sugar grams.
One of my old favorites had 88 grams of sugar. They don't offer a small
size drink either. But I have heard here that it is okay for us to have
'natural' sugars. I still couldn't bring myself to try 88 grams of that
'natural' sugar.
