Barbara Thompson's book - "Weight Loss Surgery: Finding the Thin Person Hiding Inside You" - is the best in my opinion. <p> http://www.wlscenter.com/Announce_Book.htm#book <p> A post-op RNY, who was in the hospital that my wife works at (for a problem unrelated to her WLS), loaned her copy of this book to my wife for me to read. This was the book that made me decide to go through with it. (I have my own copy now *G*....JR (open RNY 07/17 -152 lbs)

I've read 2 that are good. They are: "A Complete Guide To Obesity Surgery: Everything You Need To Know About WLS & How To Succeed" by Bryan G. Woodward (this one was the best of the 2, imo) and... "WLS; Understanding & Overcoming Morbid Obesity" by Michelle Boasten The first one I checked out from the local library. I ordered the other from Amazon.com. Hope that helped!! :o)
