Question:
does anyone know of a surgeon that will do a revision in the Birmingham, AL area? I

Sorry to hear about your regain...but what do you want revised and to what? More info might glean more answers :>)

My surgeon was Dr. Andrew DeWitt at Birmingham Carraway. He is wonderful! I don't know if he does revisions, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. His number is 205-502-4400. Judy is the nurse to talk to about your question. Good luck and good health to you!

Hi, I had a revision October 3 2002 by Dr. Les Miles at Medical Center East. He is great. I had surgery originally in 1981 and had never lost weight and then gained more back. I have now lost 70 lbs. and feel much more energetic and can eat healthier than i have in years. Good luck.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Dr. Les Miles and Dr. Lee Schmitt at Medical Center East are no longer doing revisions. On a positive note - there are many, many wonderful bariatric surgeons to choose from in Birmingham and if you would like to email me I will be happy to provide you with information on how to reach them.
