Question:
looking for Statistics on Complications for lightweight/males uneder 300lb mark
Needing more info. I would like to be more informed. Needing Statistics on other males underneigh 300lb mark before suregery. What are the complicatios and how many males have had this done at this lighter weight. Also if there are any lightweight males in TX? — David F. (posted on December 9, 2002)

My husband qualifies, although he never posts. He was 47, 285 at
6'1", he lost 110 lbs in 4 months, then stabilized. He did have
complications, actually, but that was pretty much a freak thing. He leaked
at the stoma (5 days post-op), was reopened. Did fine then. No problems
since.

I was 325 when I had LAP-RNY on October 8th. Now two months on the other
side, I am down 51 and feel I am doing well with this new tool.

I am a 31 year old male weighing 290. I had lap RNY on 12/3. So far I have
