Question:
Is it normal to have a lot of stomach pain after this procedure?

Tuesday of this week I had an upper GI in my quest for a revision. Ever since then my stomach really bothers me if I eat. I am eating normally but not overeating. Avoiding most sugars etc. Only drinking seems to help.    — snicklefritz (posted on November 1, 2002)

Did you drink barium for the upper GI? If so it may be still in your system. I'd suggest drinking as much fluid as you can for a couple of days and even taking some Milk of Mag to help clean the stuff out. It can become hard and impacted if you don't. Of course if you continue to experience pain you really <b> should </b> contact your doctor.
