Question:
Cellulite after surgery...
Hi, I am still pre-op, but was wondering if anyone can help me with an answer to this one...I have some cellulite on the backs of my legs... not horribly bad, but still very unattractive...does massive weight loss after surgery make it worse, better, or stay the same? — Amy S. I've heard that it can be a bit of both. If you lose and don't exercise
then likely as not it will be the last fat to go. Cellulite is just fat
after all - fat that is trapped closer to the skin in pockets, but fat
nonetheless. There are those few who DO exercise and still can't get rid
of it. They keep losing in other places that may not need to go down and
maintain that special fat pocket. In that case, liposuction is about the
only way to get rid of it. Good luck!

I am at goal and I don't have cellulite anymore. I didn't have a whole lot
to begin with, but I did have some unsightly dimples. I was also a
lightweight, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

I traded one icky thing for another. My cellulite is almost gone, but I got
saggy-baggy skin on my thighs in exchange. Granted, my cellulite was not
that bad, but it was yucky to me. The skin is worse than the cellulite, but
I can live with it.

I had cellulite REALLY bad after 5 months post-op. I had been walking for
5 days a week for the previous 2 months. After continuing to do it for
another 3 months, the cellulite was almost gone. It's not that bad at all
now.
