Question:
Any one else have low blood pressure?

I have had low blood pressure for the last 2 months. I am 13 months post-op. Any one else have this problem?? Any ideas/suggestions?    — deb_wls2001 (posted on September 1, 2002)

I have low blood pressure too. Mine was never high, but after surgery, it got a lot lower. I was told that I needed to drink more water, I guess when you get dehydrated, your blood pressure tends to drop. What does your doctor say about it?

I can't get a straight answer from my regular doctor, but I think mine is low too. 110/62. Seems I always have to be extremely careful not to get up to fast or I come close to passing out.

If you excerise on a regular bases it may cause your blood pressure to be on the low side, many people who are physically active especially athletes, do tend to be a little lower then the norm.
