Question:
F.L.E.X. Surgical Aftercare Program-Anyone have experince w/ this?

Don't know how I ended up at the WEB Site, but it is a program at home for $79 for post-ops....Can anyone give me any insight?    — Debby M. (posted on August 26, 2002)

Hi. I use the flex aftercare program online. My surical weightloss program, Compass, enrolls all of their post ops in this program. I have only done the first three modules. I can tell you what I know about it so far. It deals with the emotional aspects of why we eat, how we ended up overweight, and how to identify and work on the triggers that cause us to over eat. There is a message board where you can leave messages for the weight loss counselor and she responds. I have found her to be very insightful and helpful. I like the program. My only problem is finding the time to do it!

I am currently going throught the f.l.e.x. program online and it has been very good for me. I am able to stop sabotaging myself and keep the weight coming off. After so many months post op, you get kind of weirded out and go back to some of the old ways. Which causes you to freak out even more. This program came along at a good time for me because I had just experienced this phenomena and it really helped me pull myself out of dietary hell. And $79 is a good price; I saw it advertised at $99.

I have not had surgery yet, but I have been through the FLEX program with Debra Mitchell, as a requirement for insurance approval. At the end of the 10 week program, we wre given a coupon to buy her products, I chose the Surgical Aftercare Program, I have looked through it and am very impressed. Hopefully I will have my surgery by next year. I just love HMO insurance...Ha Ha.
