Question:
when putting in your height what do you do if you are 5' 5 1/2
Should I use 5' 5" or 5'6"? — Paula G. (posted on August 17, 2002)

It sounds like you are figuring your BMI? I input 5 5" and my weight
and got the answer, and then 5 6" and my weight and got an answer, and
then added the two answers together, and divided by two. Good luck to you
on your journey. Open RNY 8/26/02

If you are filling out the form for your surgeon - use 5' 6 - because that
makes your bmi a tiny bit better - on the other hand if it is for insurance
coveage use 5'5.
