Question:
Lightweight Tummy Tucks after WL Surgery
Anyone out there who is a lightweight (only around 100 lbs to lose) who has had to have a tummy tuck after surgery?? I'm still pre-op, but wanting to know if I need to start saving now...thanks! — Amy S. (posted on August 4, 2002)

I was considered a "lightweight" before surgery. I am 5'7"
and weighed 230 pounds. My BMI was only 36. I am now 9 months post and
have lost 93 pounds. Only 2 more pounds to lose to hit my personal goal of
135. I have an appt on August 12 with my surgeon for my tummy tuck. I
have a small incisional hernia, and my insurance pays for "hernia
repair/tummy tuck". My Dr says I should have no problem getting
approved. I definately need a tummny tuck. My tummy does not
"hang" at all, but is very flabby. (I have had 4 kids and needed
a tummy tuck anyways) :) Hope this helps.

I'm considered a lightweight and am having my tt on Wednesday. I've lost
107 pounds with about 10 more to go and my stomach hangs like you wouldn't
believe. It's the worst looking area on my body (besides my arms - which
I'm also having done). Start saving.
