Question:
How do you determine calories burned at Curves?
Does anyone who uses fitday.com go to Curves? If so, how do you calculate calories burned? I am just beginning to use fitday.com (today is my first day) and I want to include my exercise. Samples/examples would be greatly appreciated. — Tammy B. (posted on July 23, 2002)

Hi if you look at fitday.com there is a section to but in your exercise of
the day it is broken down to time and all sorts of other things, like
taking a shower, doing laundry, dishes and so forth.

I use "conditioning exercises", then I click on the degree of
activity I did for the day in that catagory. I put weight lifting,
moderate effort for my workouts, you will have to be the judge of your
efforts. You will need to check out all of the catagories, then open them
up and look at all of the sub-catagories to get the entire picture. Hope
this helps, keep up the exercise!

A Curves workout is considered "circuit training". You'll find
this as an option on fitday.com
