Question:
When I eat it feels like there is an air bubble that goes down with my food.

It is not painful but is slightly uncomfortable and I dont like it. I am worried about my stomach openings growing closed. Any answers would be appreciated.    — aaz123 (posted on June 16, 2002)

still a pre-op but my surgeon told me that is the first sign that I am swallowing air when I eat. He said many of us don't realize we are doing it...he said take smaller bites and make sure your mouth is closed and empty of air before swallowing. Hope that helps some!
