Question:
Hey anyone else a member of the SCA????

Hi I was wondering if there are any other SCA members here who have had or will have WLS. If you are post op what was it like attending your first event? I will be having DS in August and the Estrella War event in Phoenix is almost 6 months to the day later, so I am looking at long term planning. I took a break from eventing for about a month. It changes some things, for instance, feast is no longer fun nor economical,the heat affects me a great deal, because my blood sugar gets too low, and you go through alot of garb. You're not supposed to have alcohal, so that can be a bummer if you like to party. There are good things like compliments from people and a greater variety of garb styles to choose from. It is what you make of it.
