Question:
Has anyone else had this problem?
I had the RNY Jan. 3rd 2002, and to date have gone from 244 pounds to 180. About 1 month ago I started having problems with my gall bladder. I had an ultra sound done and my gall bladder showed that I had gall stones and fledge. I weighed myself and I was up 5 pds before the surgery (is that normal?) I had it removed 2 days ago and got on the scale this morning and see that I had gained another 2 pounds (7 all together). Does any one know if this is normal and it is just swelling and will it go down and I will lose the extra 7 pds? Also when my Dr. was doing the lap gall bladder he said that there was fluid in my stomach cavity. (not in the old stomach). Does this sound normal? The Dr. that did my RNY is different than the one who did my lap Gall bladder removal so he was not sure what the fluid was from. Any input or information would be greatly appreciated!!
