Question:
Laroscopic gallbladder surgery

In 1995 I had laproscopic gallbladder surgery. I was wondering if I would be able to have this surgery using the lap method or will I have to have the open method?    — Lisa N. (posted on April 24, 2002)

I had lap gallbladder in 1999 and then lap rny in 2001......now down 135lbs.....good luck to ya :)

I had lap gall bladder removal surgery 12/01 and had a very successful lap RNY on 1/15/02. No problems at all. Good luck!

YES, as long as your doctor does this surgery lap and say you qualify for lap. I had a tubal ligation and gallbladder surgery lap and was able to have wls lap.
