Question:
Is it normal to be in such excrutiating pain 2 weeks after surgery? Whan can I feel normal again?

as you all know tica had 2 surgeries in 2weeks and...tica had open rny feb 5th and back in the o.r. last friday due to complications,shes just wondering is it normal for her to not be able to get out of bed/recliner due to excruciating pain,how long till she feels normal???    — TRULUV2329 (posted on February 21, 2002)

Hang in there ok....It was about week 4 that I started to feel like a human being. Remember your body has just had MAJOR surgery and needs time to heal. BIG HUGS

yes it is normal to have incesion pain, iknow what you are going through the pain is bad, it taken me about 3 weks before it stop but then it hurt on the inside but not as bad. things will get better hang in there i am 90 days out and doing good. i cant really tolerate meat to well yet so i stick to other things like cheese beans fish those seem to be ok. well hang in there you will get through this i know its not easy

I had surgery Tuesday and on the following Saturday and Sunday I'm able to walk around pretty well. It hurts a bit and I can't be up doing stuff very long before feeling weak and sick, but I can work on client's computers here and there already.
