Has anyone had the Adjustable Gastric Banding and is with Kaiser Permanente in Chula

Vista? I am 5'-8", weigh 250 with a BMI of 38. I have just started looking into this. I have gastric reflux and I am inhaling gastric juices in my lungs causing Pneumonia and bronchitis. My feet are swelling, and knees hurt. I haven't ever been on any weight programs just my own diets. Never able to afford a program. Anybody have any ideas for me on what to do? Has anybody been approved for the AGB with Kaiser. I just made an appointment to see my general physician. I always end up going to urgent care and they won't do anything. Kaiser California only does the Roux n Y procedure.

the only place in TEXAS where you can get that procedure is in HOUSTON or DALLAS.
