Continue your old insurance thru COBRA. But act fast. Call your HR tomorrow
and ask them about this. Good luck

Find out if your work has cobra or some other way for you to continue
coverage with your old insurance, but do it quick. If your surgeon is
willing, move your date up as soon as possible!!
I would also check out your new insurance and see what their policy is on
wls. You are going to need them to cover your after-surgery care (cobra is
expensive) so make sure they will cover that too...
Good Luck, and if you have to start over with your new insurance, don't get
depressed!! Just look at it as a respite from the pain of surgery and keep
on trucking! (Easy for me to say, right?? I'm praying for you!!!)
Hugs
