Question:
Still losing hair

I started losing hair at about 4 months postop, and i am still losing at 9 months!!!Help, I don't have very much left    — Abby R. (posted on December 23, 2001)

Relax, I have never seen a bald person who had surgery who wasnt bald to begin with. Hair typically comes back better than ever according to the long term post ops in my support group.

I started losing hair at 4 months and continued to 1 year. It stopped and grew back fine. When I used Nioxin shampoo and conditioner,I lost less.

I am only 3 1/2 months post op but I have been taking a GNC product called Hair, Skin and nails for the past 6-7 months and so far so good..I keep my fingers crossed that this was a good choice for me...Good Luck...

My Doctor advised me to get Zinc Sulphate 220mg\'s, and to take it twice a day. Within 2 weeks my hair stopped falling out.
