I had a breast reduction after I lost a lot of weight with phen/fen. So far
I have gone done a little but nothing dramatic. I don't think you have
anything to worry about.

Hi, no offense, but expect them to be small. I have a friend that had a
breast reduction before WLS and she is small up top. She says she wouldn't
trade her decision to loose the weight and have big breast again for
anything in the world. Expect the loss and enjoy the new you.

I had a breast reduction 7 years ago. I was a 42E and after surgery I could
fit a B cup. Yea I Know!! I wanted to be as small as possible. I did go up
one cup size after becoming pregnant so before surgery I was a C cup. I am
now almost 4 months post op and down 70 pounds and I can tell you it is a
sorry sight to see. Two deflated balloons on my chest. I am going to get
implants when I get to goal. My nipples do still point north thanks to my
surgeon who put them up high!!

I had a major breast reduction 3 years ago at age 39. I was a size 48 H and
I hadn't even had any children. The surgeon took off 22 lbs, way too much
for me at my size then. My breasts are about a B, very perky and nice to
look at if you are a size 6. I was really disappointed at the time. I had
such severe back and shoulder pain over the years that I was just glad to
feel better. I do not regret it at all. I would do it all again. I have
since had a baby, my breasts didn't get any larger nor could I breast feed
because of a nipple graft. I have lost 70 lbs in 12 weeks post RNY.
Everything up top is exactly the same as before. Except that maybe they
they look a little bigger now that the rest of me is smaller.
I too, hope that I don't lose any weight in my chest or I'll be flat.

I had breast reduction surgery in April 2000. I was a 48DDD and I went
down to a 48D. I had my rny surgery in July 2001, I currently wear a 46B.
I am hoping they don't get smaller. But I wouldn't miss them if they did.
For years they were a source of embarrassment and shame for me and it would
be nice not to have to worry about them. To actually be able to walk
around braless if I want to. Free at last, free at last, thank God
almighty, my breasts are free at last! Robin

I just had a breast reduction 11/19. I'm am still pre-op for WLS. I was a
60M, and the doctor took off 15 pounds and reduced me to a 52DD. I know it
still sounds large, but it's proportionate to the rest of me. I suppose I
will still have plenty left after losing weight, but if not I'm okay with
that too. Clothes fit better, I can move around better, I feel better
overall. Regardless of how they look after WLS, I wouldn't trade my breast
reduction for anything.

Hi,
Although I am just in the research planning for the surgery I did have a
breast reduction on March 21,2002. I have wanted it for years and finally
got an insurance company that would pay for it. My plastic surgeon reduced
me to fit my body size and I am currently a 40C compared to the 40F that I
was pre surgery. All I can say is that it was the best thing to happen to
me and even if I would lose a cup size with WLS I WOULD NOT CARE!!!!! For
those interested in breast reduction feel free to email me. Pain was very
minimal and it's nice to have "perky" ones........too bad my body
doesn't do much for them right now!
