Anyone post-op suffering form hemorrhoids?

BIG TIME!!! I have developed hemorrhoids the size of, well, let me not get
too graphic, lest I offend those with delicate sensibilities. Suffice it
to say, I now walk funny. I think it is from two things: the straining at
stool from eating too much cheese, something that is high protein and
doesn't upset my stomach, but makes my bowels clamp down like a Republican
reaching for his wallet. I add a little fiber and that seems to help. The
other thing causing them is that I am holding back lotsa gas, which, given
my pinch power, inflates my rectum like a birthday balloon. Fortunately, I
consider this practice for when I am giving birth and the doctor says,
"Now, don't push."
I would rather have a few dangling parts hanging from my southern sphincter
than carry around the 157 extra pounds I have lost so far. Hope this
helps.

I had 'em beforehand...yet another lovely side effect of pregnancy. ;^) But
I've noticed recently that, as my weight decreases, so do my
hemorrhoids--in size, anyway, if not in number. The point is that it's
possible that you might develop some post-op, but it's also possible that
they might pull a shrinking act along with the rest of you! Good luck from
a fellow sufferer...

*raising my hand* I am suffering terribly from hemorrhoids... they hurt so
bad. I know it's from the straining from the vomitting and bowel
movements. I was given some cream to shrink the little buggers from my
doctor's office... so far, they don't seem to be getting much smaller. I
was told that surgery may be the only way to get rid of them... I so do not
want to go through that. I hope you find a quick solution that doesn't
include surgery. Good luck!
