Question:
How long do I have to wait to get an Appointment with Dr. Jones (Indianapolis, IN)?

I was trying to make an Appointment with Dr. Jones and was told I would have to wait until May. That's 4 month! How long did it take for other patients of Dr. jones ( Indianapolis, IN) to get the initial consult scheduled?    — Nicole E. (posted on January 28, 2001)

I made an appointment on Dec 1 for Jan 10. However, now the wait is for a surgery date, which is no sooner than the end of May. It may be due to Dr. Jones' surgery schedule, she does much more than WLS and I understand from her scheduler that it is currently overwhelming. I think it's worth the wait, I didn't get fat overnite, so I have time to work on other things like fitness, super-cleaning my house, and getting my head straight! Good Luck

Hi Nicole, I waited six weeks for the consultation and another three months until surgery. She is an outstanding surgeon and is very busy, but for me she was also very much worth the wait! One suggestion is to ask them at the office to put you on the cancellation list. That way if someone can't make their consultation, you'll be called to fill in.
