Question:
Has anyone used Ironman
triathlon nutition protein shakes ? I found these at Meijers for $10.00 a container. It is vanilla royale or chocolate fudge and has 15 grams of protein, 90 cal.,1.5 grams of fat and 1 gram sugar per serving (one scoop).I usually use two scoops when I make my shakes. It's like a fine powder and mixes up in water very easily. Sometimes I mix a little Crystal light in with crushed ice and the vanilla and it tastes like a dreamsicle. I use 2 scoops of chocolate in my cup of coffee in the morning and it is delicious ! Sometimes I think this stuff is too good to be true so I was just wondering if anyone else has tried it and has had good results. I seem to have a lot more energy since I started taking his supplement. — Kay R. (posted on August 14, 2000)

Hi Kay, I was just at Meijer a couple of days ago and right below the
Twinlab Ironman they had another protein drink called Twinlab Super Whey
Fuel. It had basically the same ingredients, is 35 ounces (which is almost
three times the size of the Ironman), has 17 gm of protein per scoop (which
is a couple more than Ironman) and costs $14.99. I have the chocolate,
vanilla and strawberry-banana and I use them everyday. I've been using
this since I came home from the hospital almost 5 months ago and have
recently increased my intake to two or three glasses per day. It's been
working great for me too!

I too use Ironman. What flavor of Crystal Light do you mix with it? I
only mix crushed ice and water and I am getting tired of this. I haven't
tried the vanilla yet, only the chocolate but I was wondering if a few
strawberries blended in the vanilla would be good. Don't drink coffee
either.
