how can i go about getting insurance? United Health Care of Florida, Choice Plan 600

I have been without insurance since i was in an accident in 98. I lost my coverage when I could no longer go back to work. because of inactivity i have gained lots of weight. Now I am told I can't qualify for medical insurance because of my weight CATCH 22---- is there any hope---- where can I go.    — linda E. (posted on July 22, 2000)

I would try n apply for disability, then ypou would be eligible for Medicare after a period of time.
