Ouch that's a tough one...most of the time if your insurance says that then they will not cover the surgery. I am not sure if there is anyone who has had an exclusion like that before on this website and have gotten the insurance to pay. There are lawyers you can go to, Walter Lindstrom is his name I believe. I would say next time open enrollment comes up you should look into a different insurance company. Good luck, I am going through the ringers with my insurance company too, just keep trying and don't give up.
