Question:
What is the normal daily meals for a person who say is 3 to 4 months post-op. In
other words what can can most people eat during the day? I know everyone is different, but I'm a bit curious. I'm only 1 week post op (open RnY). Thank you in advance. — Nicole B. (posted on March 16, 2000)

I had a Lap proximal RNY done on 10/25/99. Today's meals were: Breakfast -
3oz of canadian bacon (edges and any fat cut off), Lunch - 4oz of split
pea/lentil/veggie/chicken soup, Late afternoon - orange, Dinner - 3oz
hamburger patty with small wedge of pickle, Dessert - 2 prunes. Some days
I get more veggies in, but I always eat my protein first and eat until I am
full. Hope this helps.
