Question:
How do you know if you have a leak in your suture lines?

I would like to know how you know if you have a leak in your suture lines. What are symptoms. I am 7 weeks post op and still a little sore on the left side of my stomach. I started to eat regular foods 1 week before my Dr. said I can start. I was feeling terrible and thought eating regular food would make me feel better--which it did. Severe pain, fever > 101, progressing to septic shock. (unlikely after 2-3 weeks postop)
