This question is for people that had to

that are planning to "self-pay". My question is if you are self-paying are you concerned about something happening let's say a year or two from now? Will insurance cover this, seeing as they did not cover the procedure to begin with? This is my major concern. I'm willing to self-pay if denied but am really concerned about this. Hi! I was a self pay patient. I quess I thought about possible complications for about a split second!! I wanted this so badly, I wasn't going to let anything stop me. I figured if I had complications I would pay $5.00 or $10.00 a month for the rest of my life. I also feel the same about future complications. My surgery went great, and I'm doing fine. My feelings are you can't worry about the future cause you just never know!! Stay Positive!! Karla

I asked my Doctor the same question! He said my insurance would have to pay for anything after the surgery. Like if there were compications later.
