Question:
Has anyone in California been approved with MediCal; with BMI 39.1, and cormibids?

do not even try unless your BMI is a 40
what is that?
a gain of 10 lbs
I could gain 10 lbs in 1 week
besides I believe they might need a BMI of 50 or many cormorbids
Kaiser demands a 50 or higher
before going in
at least be a 40
why push the envelope so to say
good luck
I seriouusly belelive that 60 lbs over weight should be enough at least 75
why the magic number #100 which equals a 40 BMI

MediCal also pays for the DS! I hope you'll look into the DS before
committing to another surgery. http://duodenalswitch.com. Dr. Keshishian
and Zahriya in Delano accept MediCal and Medicare. Delano may seem like an
unlikely place to get surgery but they have their own wing in the hospital
especially for DS patients; all the staff is trained to work with us. Dr. K
did my DS in June of 2002 and I am SO happy with it!! I'm 28 months out and
still losing 1-2 lbs/month despite frequent binges!
