Question:
DOES THE SIMON FILTER PLACEMENT HURT WHEN ITS PLACED?

I noticed this wasn't answered, so I just wanted to say that I have no idea what a Simon Filter is...and perhaps that's why it's empty here...didn't want you feeling ignored. :)

I'm guessing this is something like a Greenfield filter to guard against blood clots. If so, I have a Greenfield filter, and it was no big deal. Outpatient surgery. I left about 1 hour after the procedure. Was a little sore in the groin area the next couple of days from the incision, but no big deal really.
