Question:
Has anyone recently gone to Dr. Herrera or Dr. Aguirre that can update me on price

My final appeal has been denied, so I must consider going to Mexico. Would love to hear from someone that has had it done recently.    — bev S. (posted on July 17, 2003)

I went to Dr. Aguirre in Mexico on May 20,2003. I paid $6,900.00. Though I heard that his price in going up to $8,500.00 as of 1-1-04. Dr. Aguirre did a great job on my surgery, I had no complications. And I have lost 60 pounds so far. Good Luck on your journey. Rachel

I'm going to Dr. Aguirre in November. The price at that time is $6,900. That includes the doctor, anesthesiologist, nurses and hospital. He only does RNY open.

Hi.. I used Dr.Aguirre as well. Right now his price is 6,900.00 if you get a date before 1-1-04 after that the price will be 8,500.00. I know right now he does have some dates before that so you can still get the 6,900.00 price. I would set a date with him now. I also went to Dr. Aguirre (May 5, 2003) and paid $6900.00. I heard the same thing about his price going up to $8500. at the beginning of the new year. Remember, this price includes everything: your lab tests, surgery, hospital, anesthesiologist, medications - everything! Plus, Dr. Aguirre and his staff are amazing, wonderful, skilled people. I would go back in a heartbeat. He's the kindest doctor I've ever encountered. Good luck to you!
