Question:
Anyone out there waiting for insurance approval? And Surgery date?

I found out that my insurance approved yesterday 6/12/03 and now its wait again untill Michigan calls to set up a surgery date. Anyone have any timelines on this? I am going to Grovecity, OH for the surgery. Thanks for anyhelp. And good luck to you Kimberly

My paperwork was submitted to the insurance on Monday 6.9.03. I think I will call next Monday 6.16.03 to make sure they did receive things. Up till now I had not thought much about being denied. But not that the reality of everything is more at hand, the possibility scares me. I have not asked, but I believe once approved my surgery date will be in 3 to 6 weeks. I live alone. Have no family or friends here. Some days I wish so much for a friend to confide in. Oh well. It's just how life is for me. Good luck to you.

Yes! I have been trying to get approval since 11/02. Finally had to sign up for insurance thru my job. My husband's insurance still hasn't "denied" but won't be approving any time soon. My insurance goes into effect July 1 - I am extremely anxious - All I go is get my card to my surgeon's office & they will just resubmit. This time there is no exclusion in my policy. This, I feel, is my last chance. Hopefully the tension & waiting & praying, etc., will soon be over. Allison

HELLO. I AM WAITING FOR INSURANCE APPROVAL. MY INFORMATION WAS SENT OUT ON JUNE 11TH. I AN GOING TO CALL SOMETIME NEXT WEEK TO MAKE SURE THEY GOT ALL THE INFO THEY NEEDED AND IF THEY DECIDED YET. GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND YOUR NEW INSURANCE. HOPE IT HAPPENS SOON.

I am awaiting insurance approval. Just recently my insurance company sent a list of things they needed before they would approve me. Now I am just waiting on my psyche eval which is Thursday. After that then I will be waiting to hear from them. Good Luck.

I am also awaiting my surgery date. It is a very anxious time! I am amazed how peaceful and happy I have felt this past week since I was approved. I am spending this time getting my affairs in order and doing some decorating in my room. I have also joined an aquatic excercise class to get in the habit of taking care of myself. I am excited for you and wish you all the best!
