Hi Nicole. I had surgery sept. 18 I have lost 57 pounds. I was 292 at 5'6.
I have not been as strict as i am now in the begining. I was eating
dorritos and i had a taco from taco bell at 4 weeks out. But now I am doing
very well. I also no longer need to shop in the plus section any longer,
remember everyone is different. Good Luck!

I am a little off from you. I am 5'8" and started out weighing 268.
I am six months post op and six pounds below goal. I went from a size 24
to a size 6. My profile has a monthly report of weight loss and what I was
eating. If yu have any questions shoot me an email.

Hi. I am 13 months post op, started at 5'4", 286 lbs. I have lost
108 lbs. I think the last time I weighed myself, I was 178. Still a bit
to go to get to goal, but feel so much better. Can eat anything, even
sugar in tiny bits, but nothing greasy. I'm happier, healthier, off my
b.p. and chol. and arthritis meds. Considering the tummy tuck which is
where all my weight is, which is typical, but would rather exercise it away
which I am trying to do. I had lap rny on 11/02/01. Best wishes on your
journey.

I weighed 290 or 293 the day of surgery and am 5'6". It took me
almost 14 months to lose 140 lbs. The large majority of the weight (about
125 lbs.) came off the first 8 to 9 months).

I know I started out heavier than you, but at 5'8 and 352lbs. 4 1/2 months
ago, I just hit the 91lbs. mark today! Feels great...was in a 30/32 and am
now in a 22 pants...18/20 shirt, sometimes 22 depending on the brand (my
boobs ICK!)...everyone looses at a different pace, but rest assured you
WILL loose if you will follow your instructions! Pretty much I eat a
"normal" lifestyle, obviously a lot less, but more than I could a
few months ago..best of luck for a speedy recovery!!!!
