I have heard of people going back to liquids for several days to jump start
themselves again. But, keep in mind that once you jumpstart the losing
again, you need to find a healthy way to continue/maintain. Get yorself on
a plan, or a routine. I bring a protein drink for breakfast every mornig,
it's easy and it helps me get my protein. Then remember ot bring a health,
protein dense lunch. Making mine the night before helps. Some sliced
turkey breast and cheese, tuna, egg slada, meatballs, even left over
chinese food make their way into my lunch bag. Dinner, I imagine is tough
with a young child and a boyfriend who could probably get away with eating
anything he wants (Grrr! Don;t you hate that!). But, there you can still
enjoy variations of the yummy foods he likes. My roomate wanted pizza the
other night, so I ordered one slice and one meatball. I cut the meatball
in half (it was big), took the cheese off of the crust (I don't do simple
carbs) and ate them together. Yamma, yamma! Tacos once in a while aren't
that bad either. Try to get your boyfriend to compromise with you. So,
yeah, I'd say if you have the will power to go back to liquids for a couple
of days and you think that will get your motivation going again, then go
for it. But, please for your long term success, try to start eating
healthy as soon as possible! Oh yeah, one more thing...44 pounds in 4
months is great. You may just be on a bit of a plateau right now, increase
your water, protein, and exercise, exercise, exercise. You should come off
of it in no time. Best of luck to you!
