Question:
What do the surgerons do when you have your period just in time for surgery?

Doctors don't care. They are use to it. They deal with women patient all
the time.

I was on my period on the day of surgery. They do make you completely
undress for the surgery, but the nurse let me put a pad between my legs
before the wheeled me into the OR. Not a big deal, and don't worry.

Last week when I had my tummy tuck, they made me put on a pair of mesh
underwear and a big sanitary pad. Luckily, my period was almost over but I
still had to stand there in this thing as the doctor drew all over my
stomach and crotch with his magic marker!! When I woke up, the mesh
underwear and sanitary pad were gone. I have no idea where they went.

Having a period is only a big deal to us. The medical professionals see so
much blood and guts and sickness, that menstruation is a non-event to them.

Like the other posted said. It is no big deal. I started my period the
morning of my surgery. I dealt with it and they dealt with it and you can
too if necessary. Good luck to you........
